Welcome to Prison Salt and Light Ministries Inc. (PSALMS). We are a registered faith-based association in Papua New Guinea dedicated to bringing hope and transformation to men, women, and youth in prison. Throughout our work, we guide individuals toward becoming responsible, law-abiding citizens. Our passionate team of volunteers, including members from various Christian denominations, university and college students, and reformed exconvicts, actively participate in prison visits, counseling, and rehabilitation programs. We bring God’s salt of friendship and shine His light of hope to individuals behind bars. By understanding their physical, moral, and spiritual needs, we continue to work alongside Correction Officers, Counsellors, Volunteers, families, and those impacted by incarceration. We proclaim the message of new beginnings, provide skills training, and advocate for those ready to rebuild their lives. We believe in the power of second chances and remain devoted to our work alongside pastors, counselors, volunteers, and families. By fostering this environment of support, we help individuals rediscover their path and strive for positive change. Join us in creating change and supporting those who seek a new path in life.
